This training is designed for those who are interested in establishing or enhancing a local juvenile justice diversion program, often referred to as youth court, teen court, peer court, student court and youth peer panel. Individuals relatively new to these youth justice programs, those who have never attended one of these intensive trainings, and those who are relatively new adult staff, working full or part-time in an existing local youth court/teen court should participate in this training institute. Teams of 2-5 adults are encouraged to attend and participate in these trainings for purposes of improved outcomes upon returning home to your community to establish or enhance a local youth court or teen court juvenile justice diversion program.
