This two day tailored training will present key components of IACP and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's (OJJDP) recommended juvenile interview techniques for law enforcement. Strategies, techniques and cautions will be provided for analyzing behavior, developing rapport, and conducting effective juvenile interview and interrogations. Case examples and actual footage of juvenile interviews will be presented to illustrate where mistakes were made and successful investigative techniques that work.
