Provides an overview of OJJDPís Juvenile Accountability Block Grants (JABG) program, which helps States and communities develop and implement programs that hold youth accountable for delinquent behavior through the imposition of graduated sanctions that are consistent with the severity of the offense. JABG also supports programs that strengthen the juvenile justice systemís capacity to process cases efficiently and work with community partners to keep youth from reoffending. The publication includes information about authorizing legislation, eligibility, the award process, and performance measures.
