National Center for School Engagement Announces Training on Evaluating Truancy Programs

On April 14–15, 2011, in Denver, CO, the National Center for School Engagement will host "Evaluating Your Truancy Reduction Program." The program is designed to help coordinators and managers of truancy reduction programs learn how to conduct a program evaluation. Such evaluations can help demonstrate a program's successes, identify where the program needs improvement, and determine what changes should be made.
The training is aimed at coordinators and managers who have a beginning to intermediate familiarity with data collection, data use, and program evaluation. Registration is available online.
