March 9, 2011

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention has extended the deadline for submissions to the National Missing Children's Day poster contest to April 8. Fifth-grade students may submit a poster based on the theme, "Bring Our Missing Children Home." The contest raises awareness of the effort to bring missing children home safely while also highlighting the importance of proactive education programs.

The winner will travel to Washington, DC to receive an award and participate in the Missing Children's Day Ceremony on May 25.
