American Bar Association To Host Children's Law Conferences in July

On July 1316, 2011, the American Bar Association will host two conferences on children and the law. The conferences will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, in Arlington, VA.
The Second National Child Welfare Parents' Attorneys Conference will be held on July 13–14, 2011. The conference will address topics such as working with incarcerated parents and their children, reinstating parental rights, representing minor parents, representing parents in co-occurring child welfare and criminal proceedings, and more.
The Fourteenth National Conference on Children and the Law will be held on July 15–16, 2011. Session topics will include working with legal issues for children exposed to domestic violence, addressing the health care needs of foster children, counseling child clients, assisting youth who age out of care, and more.
