OJJDP Announces FY 2012 Funding Opportunity on Defending Childhood

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has announced the Defending Childhood Resource Center: Improving the Nation’s Response to Children Exposed to Violence funding opportunity. This project will establish a resource center to provide education, training, technical assistance, and support to state, local, and tribal governments to implement child welfare and juvenile justice policies recommended by the Attorney General’s Defending Childhood Task Force and the National Advisory Committee on Violence Against Women.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. E.T. on July 30, 2012.

On 7/11/12, OJJDP canceled the Defending Childhood Resource Center: Improving the Nation’s Response to Children Exposed to Violence solicitation. This solicitation will be reissued at a later date, if federal funds are available for this purpose.
