Conference To Examine Issues Influencing Student Learning

On August 8-9, 2012, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Students will host its National Conference—“Meeting the Challenge: Building and Sustaining Capacity to Improve Conditions for Learning”—at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. The conference will explore issues influencing student learning, such as school discipline, gender-based violence, behavioral health, bullying, and school safety.
