Funding Available To Evaluate OJJDP’s Mentoring Enhancement Program

Through a new research funding opportunity managed by the Library of Congress, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is seeking applicants to conduct a multisite process and outcome evaluation of its Mentoring Enhancement Demonstration Program. The awardee will determine whether the demonstration program is able to improve the effectiveness of mentoring by supporting collaborations of qualified, established mentoring program sites through the implementation of advocacy into mentors' roles. Applications are due by 12:00 p.m. E.T. on August 16, 2012.
