On October 14–18, 2012, the National Partnership for Juvenile Services (NPJS) will host its 18th National Symposium on Juvenile Services in Las Vegas, NV. "Merging Juvenile Justice and Youth Development: Responding to the Needs of the Field" will address topics of importance to juvenile justice practitioners, such as jurisdictional planning, juvenile probation, the Prison Rape Elimination Act, and the education and health of youth in confinement.
