A recent Department of Justice (DOJ) blog post on children exposed to drugs and violence features Deputy Attorney General James W. Cole's comments at last month's National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (National DEC) conference. Cole spoke about DOJ’s commitment to protecting children through its Drug Endangered Children Task Force, Defending Childhood Initiative, Project Safe Childhood, and local, state, and federal outreach. The blog post also discusses the $1.2 million DOJ grant awarded to the National DEC and DOJ’s collaboration with state-level DEC groups.
