NCJFCJ To Host Training for Juvenile Court Officials

On April 812, 2013, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) will host a training institute in Reno, NV, for new state and tribal judicial officers and returning officers seeking a refresher course. The curriculum will include sessions on judicial leadership and the role of the judge, ethics, decisionmaking, evidence, child and adolescent development, schools and the court, trauma-informed justice, abuse and neglect, delinquency, interpersonal violence, custody, divorce, self-represented litigants, and dealing with the media.
