Report Assesses Quality of Representation in Missouri’s Juvenile Courts

The National Juvenile Defender Center has released “Missouri: Justice Rationed—An Assessment of Access to Counsel and Quality of Juvenile Defense Representation in Delinquency Proceedings.” The report discusses youth access to qualified counsel in Missouri, highlights promising practices and programs, and concludes with recommendations to improve the state’s juvenile defense delivery system.
