Webinar To Discuss Alternatives to Incarceration in Tribal Justice Systems

June 17, 2013

On June 20, 2013, at 3 p.m. ET, the Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), in partnership with the American Probation and Parole Association and the Education Development Center, will host the 90-minute Webinar Alternatives to Incarceration in Indian Country. Panelists will discuss alternatives to incarceration for justice-involved adult and juvenile tribal members, share strategies for—and challenges of—implementing these alternatives, and highlight tribal communities successfully implementing alternatives to incarceration.
