This issue's lead story highlights the first of four public hearings that the Task Force on American Indian/Alaska Native Children Exposed to Violence will hold to examine the impact of violence on children in Indian country. The task force is a joint effort between the U.S. Departments of Justice and the Interior and tribal governments.
