OJJDP Administrator To Address Youth Violence Prevention at CDC Webcast

CDC logoOn February 18, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will host the Public Health Grand Rounds Webcast “Preventing Youth Violence.” Presenters will examine youth violence as a public health issue and highlight evidence-based approaches and partnerships to address it. In his remarks, OJJDP Administrator Robert L. Listenbee will discuss the importance of promoting violence prevention in communities, share strategies and resources to achieve impact, and provide examples of how communities can augment their violence-prevention efforts.
