Webinar to Discuss Trauma-Informed Care in Juvenile Detention Facilities

CJJ ConferenceOn April 30, 2014, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, OJJDP’s National Center for Youth in Custody will present “Trauma-Informed Care,” the first Webinar in the series “What Works: The Practitioner's Response to Theory and Evidence.” This Webinar will provide training and a testimonial to the use and success of trauma-informed care in juvenile detention centers. Presenters will explain trauma-informed care, how to implement it in a facility, and what is being done in facilities to provide trauma-informed care.
