This Webinar will review the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and intersex (LGBTQI) youth in custody and discuss the challenges staff and leaders in facilities should address as they strive to meet the needs of LGBTQI youth. They will also provide examples of ways in which current work with LGBTQI youth in custody is evolving, the importance of changing practices based on recent federal guidelines, and how a change of culture in facilities may lead to better outcomes.
