Although subject to additional input and changes, the Standards of Excellence National Blueprint is a call to the field for leadership and change. It challenges child welfare to leverage the experience, knowledge and resources of other service systems, community organizations and individuals who serve children and families. It acknowledges that the safety, permanence, and well being of children is everyone’s responsibility. The format for the conference will include workshops as well as opportunities for informed, robust discussions about the Standards of Excellence National Blueprint and its role in creating real change in how children, youth and families who are vulnerable are served. |
