|The three-day training program is designed to highlight practice and policy models for resolving racial and ethnic disparities and disproportionate minority contact (DMC) in juvenile justice. |
The symposium will address developing and acting upon an effective DMC assessment, State Advisory Group leadership in DMC, addressing the school-to-prison pipeline, cultural adaptations of evidence-based practices, serving crossover youth and much more. Special joint sessions will also involve the OJJDP State Training and Technical Assistance Center.
