In this workshop you will learn techniques based on decades of successful implementation of the Motivational Interviewing model, geared especially for youth with troubling behaviors. You will come away with specific exercises you can use to help young people decide for themselves to make positive changes in the behaviors that cause problems in school, whether those behaviors be substance use, skipping class, bullying, defying teachers and staff or just not wanting to do their homework.
As part of a professional development series, this workshop is designed for nonprofit professionals, teachers, and school administrators. This workshop will take place from 2 PM - 5 PM. |
