Additional Information:
The purpose of this program is to provide law enforcement, child protective services workers, medical professionals, and other juvenile justice system professionals with comprehensive training on the detection, intervention, investigation, and prosecution of cases involving fatal child abuse and neglect. Topics covered include: overview and investigation of fatal child abuse and neglect, crime scene and forensic evidence, interviewing/interrogation, medical aspects, prosecution, and case management. Length of program is 4-1/2 days.

Target audience: Law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and other juvenile justice system professionals involved in the investigation of fatal child abuse and neglect. Maximum of 2 participants per agency.
