| National Gang Center | | The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and Bureau of Justice Assistance will award a cooperative agreement to continue the activities of the National Gang Center (NGC). NGC tracks current research and trends on gangs and maintains a database of comprehensive information on the development and implementation of effective gang prevention, intervention, and suppression strategies. | OJJDP and BJA encourage applicants to register on Grants.gov several weeks before the application deadline of 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on February 28, 2011.
On January 18, 2011, OJJDP modified the Amount and Length of Awards section with the following text: OJJDP will make one award of up to $2,000,000 for a 12-month project period. Additional funding after this budget period may be available based on performance of the grantee. The initial award and any subsequent awards are subject to the availability of appropriated funds and any modifications or additional requirements that may be imposed by law.
