|Internet Crimes Against Children Deconfliction System Program|
|This solicitation will award funding for the construction, maintenance, and housing of an Internet Crimes Against Children Data System (IDS) and related tasks, including providing training and technical assistance to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces and their federal law enforcement partners on the use of the system.|
|OJJDP encourages applicants to register with Grants.gov several weeks before the application deadline of 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on March 28, 2011.|
On February 2, 2011, OJJDP made the following changes to the solicitation: 1) On page 3, under Eligibility the following text was added: “Joint applications are encouraged from ICAC Task Force agencies and ICAC affiliates and partners such as public agencies, including state agencies, units of local government (including federally recognized Indian tribal governments as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), public and private universities and colleges (including tribal institutions of higher education), and private nonprofit organizations (including faith-based, tribal, and community organizations). The ICAC agency must serve as the primary applicant and lead fiscal agent for the project. Other partners may be included as subcontractors or subgrantees." 2) On page 13, under the Budget Detail Worksheet, the fourth paragraph was correct to state "The budget should be prepared for a project period of up to 36 months and show clearly the costs associated with these major activities."
