The Property Crime Index includes the offenses of burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. |

- The Property Crime Index arrest rates in 2010 were at their lowest level in 31 years for white, American Indian, and Asian youth, while the rate for black youth in 2010 was just 2% above its 2006 low point.
- In the 31 years from 1980 to 2010, the black youth arrest rate for property crimes averaged twice the white youth rate, much smaller than the black-white disparity in juvenile arrest rates for violent crimes.
- In 2010, the black-white disparity in Property Crime Index arrest rates was much smaller than the disparity in Violent Crime Index arrest rates (2.4 vs. 4.9).
