- Between 1980 and 2010, the burglary arrest rate declined 88% for both Asian and American Indian youth, 76% for whites, and 67% for blacks. As a result, rates for Asian, American Indian, and white youth in 2010 were at their lowest levels of the 31-year period.
- After falling to its lowest level of the 31 year period in 2004, the burglary arrest rate for black juveniles increased through 2008, then fell in 2010 to a level just 7% above the 2004 low point.
