| Reports findings from the 2008 National Youth Gang Survey. Data on the number of gangs, gang members, and gang-related crime and violence in larger cities, suburban counties, smaller cities, and rural counties are provided to accurately reflect youth gang activity in the United States. Based on survey results, it is estimated that more than 3,330 jurisdictions across the United States experienced gang activity in 2008. |
