As part of its series of teleconferences on school safety, the Hamilton Fish Institute aired this teleconference on April 11, 2002. The teleconference highlighted several strategies for schoolwide education that have been used in programs that the Institute has determined to be effective for violence prevention. Prerecorded presentations and members of a interactive panel discussed elements of effective schoolwide strategies, including anger management, conflict resolution, social skills training, communications skills, and use of mediation, police, and legal services.
