Presents a method for obtaining data on judicial workloads in abuse and neglect cases, which includes an assessment of what is required for best practice in these cases. Drawing on work from the pilot project sites, this document discusses different approaches to workload analysis and provides tools for conducting analyses. Guide to Judicial Workload Assessment includes five appendixes: judicial time log worksheet and instructions, judicial workload activity code sheet, and a court observation tool and instructions.
