This issue's lead story describes OJJDP's ongoing efforts to combat child sex trafficking in the United States. The issue also includes special features on the following topics: OJJDP’s participation in the third National Mentoring Summit; the Office’s new “Beyond Detention” bulletin series, which examines the mental health needs and outcomes of youth in the juvenile justice system; and an OJJDP staff briefing and Webinar on the need to engage families as valued partners in the juvenile justice system.
