Presents findings from the 1990, 1992, and 1994 State Court Processing Statistics program and juvenile court data collected by the National Center for Juvenile Justice. Juvenile felony defendants tried as adults in the Nation's 75 largest counties are compared with juvenile defendants formally processed in juvenile courts in those counties. Findings are presented on offense characteristics, pretrial released detention, offender demographics, adjudication outcomes, and sentencing.
