The November 1999, Millennium Conference held in Washington D.C. with government and humanitarian leaders shared information and ideas on how to best serve an estimated 520,00 abused and neglected children in foster care in the United States. The Conference was designed to coordinate, integrate, and improve the Nationís response to child victims in foster care.
