This videoconference, which originally aired on January 15, 2003, highlighted the importance of mentoring as an effective approach to delinquency prevention; examined mentoring in community, faith-based, school and work settings; and shared strategies for effective mentor recruitment. The broadcast was designed for juvenile justice agencies, policymakers, judges, law enforcement officials, probation officers, business leaders, teachers, school and community leaders, faith-based organizations, and others interested in helping youth.
