Provides an overview of the mission, objectives, and services of the recently launched National Center for Youth in Custody. The center will strive to serve the range of facilities in which juveniles are placed, including adult facilities that confine juvenile offenders. Emphasizing the rehabilitative goals of the juvenile justice system, the center will deliver training and technical assistance; identify, document, and promote evidence-based approaches to working with youth in custody; and serve as a resource for juvenile justice practitioners, youth in custody, and families. The center will provide training, training curriculums, Webinars, and professional development, among other services.
