Mentoring Initiative for System-Involved Youth (MISY)
(NCJ 251087) 2010
Grant, 125 page(s)
Matthew Courser, Hilary Kirk
This report presents the results from a cross-site evaluation of the implementation of four programs in the MISY project funded by OJJDP from 2006 to 2010. The four programs served youth participating in the foster care system and youth implicated in or at-high risk of being implicated in the juvenile justice system. The evaluation found that mentees perceived increased feelings of intimacy the longer they were engaged in the program.
