Webinar To Address Children's Exposure to Violence

On February 15, 2012, the Drug Endangered Children National Alliance will host a Webinar on recent activities under the Attorney General's Defending Childhood Initiative and its National Task Force on Children Exposed to Violence. The Webinar will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., MST (1:30 to 2:30 p.m., EST).

During this Webinar, Dr. Phelan Wyrick, co-chair of the initiative, will discuss the community-based efforts funded under Defending Childhood and provide an update on the task force's recent public hearings on children's exposure to violence. He will also discuss how the work of the Federal Interagency Task Force on Drug Endangered Children dovetails with the Defending Childhood Initiative's efforts to address children's exposure to violence.
