OJJDP To Host Live Chat on Education in Juvenile Justice Settings

May 13, 2013

On May 21, 2013, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP's) State Training and Technical Assistance Center (STTAC) will host a live chat on the collateral consequences of delinquency with a focus on education. Experts will share strategies for engaging system-involved youth in quality educational programs and discuss the benefits of offering higher education in juvenile justice settings.

The chat will build on the Webinar “Reversing the Pipeline: From Incarceration to Education” held on May 16. Participation in the Webinar is not required for the live chat.

Submit questions and comments to the experts in advance and access the chat room at 1:45 p.m. on May 21.
