OJJDP To Host Live Chat on DMC Best Practices

On June 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. ET, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP's) State Training and Technical Assistance Center (STTAC) will host a 1-hour live chat on disproportionate minority contact (DMC) that will focus on prevention and systems improvement strategies. Andrea Coleman, OJJDP’s DMC Coordinator, will discuss best practices as they pertain to arrests/referrals to court in the juvenile justice setting.

The chat will build on the Webinar “Promising DMC Delinquency Prevention and Systems Improvement Strategies,” held on December 5, 2011. The Webinar is not required for participation in the live chat.
