March 24, 2014
On March 27, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. E.T., the U.S. Departments of Justice and Education will present “Guiding Principle 2: Clear, Appropriate, and Consistent Expectations and Consequences.” This 90-minute Webinar, the fourth in a series from the Supportive School Discipline Initiative (SSDI) Webinar series, will review Guiding Principle #2, as outlined within the recently released School Discipline Guidance Package. The guidance package is a product of SSDI, a collaboration between the two agencies and a priority for the Department of Justice and OJJDP. This initiative addresses issues affecting school climate and encourages schools to find alternatives to harsh and exclusionary disciplinary policies and practices.
