National Child Abuse Prevention Month Resources Available Online
April 1, 2014
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The theme for this year’s observance is “Making Meaningful Connections.” During the month of April and throughout the year, communities are encouraged to share their child abuse and neglect prevention awareness strategies and activities and promote prevention across the country. In observance, the National Criminal Justice Reference Service has posted “Special Feature: Child Abuse,” a compilation of publications and resources on the prevalence, prevention, and responses to child abuse.
