National Center for Youth in Custody Webinar To Discuss Positive Youth Development

On June 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. ET, the OJJDP-sponsored National Center for Youth in Custody will present “Positive Youth Development,” the next Webinar in the series “What Works? A Practitioner’s Response to Theory and Evidence.” During the 90-minute Webinar, presenters will discuss a framework, based on principles of Positive Youth Development (PYD), with which to design effective interventions for justice-involved youth that capitalize on their strengths and meet their developmental needs. Examples of successful implementation of PYD principles in facility programs also will be discussed.
