OJJDP Announces Funding Opportunities To Enhance Drug Courts

July 3, 2014

Funding Announcement OJJDP has announced the fiscal year 2014 funding opportunities:

  • Enhancements to Juvenile Drug Courts. A juvenile drug court provides comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, community-based services for youth who come in contact with the juvenile justice system due to alcohol or other drug use. OJJDP will make awards to currently operating juvenile drug courts to enhance their capacity and the services they provide. Applications are due by July 23, 2014.
  • Family Drug Court Statewide System Reform. This state-level reform effort will expand family drug courts’ scale and scope to serve families in the child welfare system affected by parental substance use disorders and to improve family outcomes. Applications are due by July 23, 2014.

Visit OJJDP’s funding page for more information about these solicitations and other current funding opportunities.
