Registration Open for Tribal Youth Leadership Training

Tribal Youth ProgramUnited National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY), in collaboration with OJJDP, will host the Today’s Native Leaders Community Service Academy on October 24–26, 2014, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This free event will provide as many as 100 tribal youth with leadership training on designing community service projects. The Today’s Native Leaders initiative between OJJDP and UNITY will offer tribal youth leadership training over the next 3 years. Trainings will expand the number of UNITY youth councils and youth-led community service projects. Trained youth will have leadership roles at the annual national UNITY conference in Washington, DC, in the summer of 2015.
