Webinar To Discuss Courts and Juvenile Justice

January 23, 2015

Coordinating the delivery of high quality, research driven training and technical assistance to improve juvenile justice policy, and practice.On January 28, 2015, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. ET, OJJDP—in collaboration with the U.S. Departments of Justice and Education and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the Department of Health and Human Services—will present “Courts and Juvenile Justice.” This Webinar will highlight strategies to prevent youth contact with the juvenile justice system, improve services for those in confinement, and support juvenile reentry. Presenters will address data collection, diversion options, partnerships between courts and schools, behavioral supports and education, and the transition of students returning to school. This Webinar is the fourth in the new Supportive School Discipline Initiative (SSDI) series.
