SMART Announces Funding To Support SORNA Implementation

February 13, 2015

The Office of Justice Programs’ Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART) is accepting applications for its FY 2015 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program. The SMART Office supports implementation of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), Title I of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006. This funding will assist jurisdictions that are developing and/or enhancing SORNA programs to offset the costs of implementation.
