Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Fatalities To Hold Public Meeting

Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities logoOn February 26, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT, and February 27, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., PT, the Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities (CECANF) will hold a public meeting in Portland, OR. CECANF is a federal advisory committee established to develop a national strategy and recommendations for reducing fatalities resulting from child abuse and neglect. At this meeting, CECANF members will gather national and state-specific information related to prevention models, child welfare issues, and federal policy associated with child abuse and neglect fatalities. Members of the public will not have the opportunity to ask questions or otherwise participate in the meeting, either on the phone or in person.
