Council of Juvenile Correctional AdministratorsOn May 15, 2015, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators (CJCA) will present “Reducing Isolation in Youth Facilities: Strategies and Lessons Learned from the Field.” Sponsored by OJJDP and the Center for Coordinated Assistance to the States, this webinar will draw from the “CJCA Toolkit: Reducing the Use of Isolation” to explore strategies to reduce or eliminate isolation of youth in juvenile correctional and detention facilities. Presenters will discuss the impact isolation has on youth facility residents and provide examples of system reforms limiting its practice.
