OJJDP's Advisory Committee Extends Application Deadline for 2015 Vacancies

August 27, 2015

FACJJImage The Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) has extended the deadline for membership applications to September 4, 2015. The 2-year terms of 11 primary and alternate members, including tribal members, will expire on September 30, 2015. The applicant must be a current member of a State and Juvenile Justice Advisory Group (SAG) from the selected jurisdictions. Service on the FACJJ is an opportunity for SAG members to collaborate with OJJDP leadership and staff on a deeper level, forge stronger relationships among states and territories with mutual interests, and provide timely responses to legislative, policy, and program matters. OJJDP seeks an advisory committee that is diverse in geography, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, experience, youth or young adult voice, and system/agency experience.

Read the FACJJ vacancy announcement for more information.

Attach the membership application to an email and send it to Marshall.D.Edwards@ojp.usdoj.gov by Friday, September 4, 2015.
