Meeting To Discuss National Trauma-Informed Approaches

September 25, 2015

On September 29-30, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET each day, the Federal Partners Committee on Women and Trauma will host "Building a Trauma-Informed Nation: Moving the Conversation into Action." This 2-day event will focus on how to create a trauma-informed national strategy. Sessions will highlight successful trauma-informed approaches at the state and local levels in four major areas: the justice system, education, health care, and communities. Presentations will include youth-oriented approaches to trauma. Interactive sessions will follow each presentation to facilitate participant discussions and action planning.
