| Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice To Meet
October 13, 2015
On Monday, October 19, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET, and Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will hold an in-person meeting in Washington, DC. The agenda will include welcoming remarks by OJJDP Administrator Robert L. Listenbee, FACJJ subcommittee reports (legislation, expungement/confidentiality of records, and research/publications), review and discussion of the subcommittees' activities and recommendations, voting on chair and vice-chair for 2016, FACJJ administrative business, and next steps.
Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the committee advises the President and Congress on matters related to juvenile justice, evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activities and projects, and advises the OJJDP Administrator on the work of OJJDP.
